Changing Our Minds Institutional License Terms

 

Depending on the type of license you purchases, one or other of the following sets of terms applies to your licensed copy of Inlaws & Outlaws.

 

Educational License

Institutions & Universities: $225
Small Campus (1,000 students or less): $125
Public Health Advocates: $100

 

This license is intended for public and private colleges, universities and public health institutions.

 

This license allows:

  • Unlimited classroom use in classes on the campus of the licensed institution only. This license does not expire.
  • Student use for clubs and private screenings where no fees are collected.

 

This license does NOT allow:

  • Paid public screenings, including screening series run by groups. Discounted screening licenses are available upon request.
  • Classroom use in any setting other than at the original licensed institution.
  • This license is not transferable or lendable to other institutions or campuses.

 

High School / Public Library License   $75

This license is for all libraries, as well as public and private schools Grades 7 through 12.

 

This license allows:

  • Unlimited classroom use in classes through Grade 12. No expiration.

 

This license does NOT allow:

  • Public screenings, including in library settings, whether free or paid.
  • Use in any screening series outside of a class.
  • Classroom use in any setting other than at the original licensed institution.
  • This license is not transferable or lendable to other institutions or campuses.

 

Screening License This license is intended for community screenings only. It is available for purchase to any individual, community organization, club, school, congregation or non-profit. It is not intended for any commercial purpose, including any business that regularly screens films and charges admission. For information on a screening license or theatrical booking, please contact us directly.

 

This license allows:

  • One public screening for up to the number of viewers your license stipulates (please contact us for more info on this license). Your license is good for one year from the date of purchase. It is not refundable or transferable.
  • Yes, you may charge admission, accept donations or have a free screening! Any fees collected for the screening are yours to keep.

 

This license does NOT allow:

  • This license is not intended for theatrical use. If you wish to screen the film at a theatrical venue, we can usually work it out but you must contact us in advance for permission.
  • This license is not intended for educational or classroom use. Educational Licenses are for ongoing use and can be purchased separately. If you wish to purchase both a Community Screening License and an Educational Institution License, discounts are available.
